Forty-five minutes from keyword selection to live published page. That's not theoretical — it's the operational throughput of the content pipeline I run across six websites. The secret isn't speed at any individual stage — it's eliminating dead time between stages.

A traditional content workflow runs like this: keyword research (Day 1), brief creation (Day 2-3), writer assignment (Day 4-7), first draft (Day 14-21), editing rounds (Day 22-28), publication (Day 30+).   3. Top 3 result structure — Open the top 3 organic results. Note their H2 headings, word count range, and content type. These are your competitive benchmarks. Your article must cover everything they cover plus something they don't.

  4. People Also Ask questions — These become your FAQ section. They also reveal subtopics Google associates with the primary keyword.

  5. Content gap — What do the top results miss? Maybe they don't include pricing data. Maybe they don't have a practical implementation section. Maybe they lack first-person experience. The gap is your differentiation.

This research doesn't produce a document. It produces mental context for the brief stage. Five minutes of focused scanning with Ahrefs open in one tab and the SERP in another. No notes needed — the information feeds directly into the brief.

Stage 2: Brief (5 Minutes)

The brief converts research into a structured spec that the AI can execute against. My brief format is a prompt template with slots for variable data.

Stage 3: Draft (15 Minutes)

The drafting stage is where AI does the heavy lifting. Fifteen minutes covers prompt construction (3 minutes), AI generation (2 minutes), and structural review (10 minutes).

The Drafting Prompt

The brief becomes the core of the drafting prompt, wrapped in voice specifications and quality constraints:

Stage 4: Edit (15 Minutes)

Editing transforms a competent AI draft into a published-quality article. The edit has three passes, each catching a different category of issues.

Pass 1: Authenticity Injection (7 Minutes)

The most important edit. AI produces accurate, well-structured content. It doesn't produce content that sounds like it came from someone who's done the work. This pass adds:

Pass 3: Technical SEO Check (3 Minutes)

The mechanical optimization review:

The Prompt Library: Your Most Valuable Pipeline Asset

The prompts that drive the pipeline are intellectual property worth more than any individual article they produce. That prompt's value is the cumulative learning from those 20 iterations — encoded knowledge about what produces good output for this specific topic category and voice.

Organizing Prompts by Content Type
